en daarna kunnen we steam installeren

Start vervolgens een desktop omgeving als de kodi user. Hierna kunnen we via een terminal steam starten, maar zal deze niet volledig kunnen installeren omdat de installer niet goed omgaat met beperkte rechten. nadat steam gecrashed is kunnen we de deps handmatig installeren.

Kodi users sudoers rechten geven, maak hiervoor het bestand “/etc/sudoers.d/kodi” aan en zet daar het volgende in

kodi

kodi  ALL=(ALL:ALL) ALL

en draai vervolgens steamdeps om steam werkend te krijgen

sudo /usr/bin/steamdeps --interactive --update-apt /home/kodi/.local/share/Steam/steamdeps.txt

als laatste zit er een bug in de fullscreenmode waardoor fullscreen niet schermvullend is, plaats hiervoor een openbox config file in de homedir in het bestand /home/kodi/.config/openbox/rc.xml met de volgende inhoud
